Rules of behavior of patient escorts in the rooms

Escorts who remain in the wards with a special permission (given only by the Administration of our Hospital to escorts of minors, persons with special needs or people with dementia), must avoid sitting on the patients' beds and maintain the orderliness of the ward as much as possible.

Noise avoidance

Escorts and visitors must not make noise, because patients need peace and quiet.

Protection of personal belongings

Do not bring valuables or large sums of cash with you.

Apollonion Private Hospital bears no responsibility for any loss of personal belongings or any item of value.

Patient financial obligations

Each of our patients may receive any service from our Hospital as long as they have previously settled their financial obligations.

Upon leaving Apollonion Private Hospital, they must have settled the balance of their account.

Documents & examinations

Before admission, make sure you have your identity card, your National Health Service reference number or any proof of insurance provided by your insurance company.

Always carry with you any examinations you have taken in the past as well as any relevant document (information sheet, instructions, etc.).

Also, bring a copy of any medical information regarding your hospitalization such as x-rays, diagnoses, test results, etc.

GeSY Hospitalization

The patient can have access to Apollonion Private Hospital for inpatient health care services if referred by another health care service provider:

• a personal physician;
• a medical specialist;
• another hospital that has joined the GeSY.

Private or insured hospitalization

If you are insured with an insurance company you must present your hospital card and, depending on the terms and conditions of your policy, we will proceed with the required charge.

If you are a private individual, you prepay 30%-40% of the hospitalization based on the estimated cost and, at the end, the rest based on the actual cost.

Data Collection

Patients must provide true information when registering with the Reception & Patient Services Department.

Patients must complete and sign all the documents required by the Hospital upon admission.

In cases where the patient's state of health does not allow it, the necessary documents are signed by their escort or the person who will assume responsibility for the patient's obligations to the Hospital.

Also, the patient must sign the "Declaration of Consent" for surgery or other operation.

No smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas of the Hospital.
