Provided service as a Family Medicine Consultant (“A” level) in Mochos town and its county, and supervised afternoon and night wards in Kastelli health center Emergency Department.
Responsible for the teaching and managing of medical students, interns, and residents.
Visit the county's elementary and high schools to implement prevention programs issued by the Greek Government and for medical issues of the students including vaccination protocols.
Hold meetings with teachers, directors and psychologists to help "prevent rather than cure" problems of the youngsters.
Have addressed seven speeches to the county’s population on the “G.P.’s role and abilities” and “Health issues related to modern way of living”, and two speeches to the Kasteli and Harakas health centers medical staff on the “Doctor-Patient bonds”.
Have published “Measuring the burden of herpes zoster and post herpetic neuralgia within primary care in rural Crete, Greece” accepted on BMC Family Practice, and publication is pending.
Have participated in many medical seminars, and attended a number of National, European and International Medical Congresses.
Attended on February-March 2014 a Postgraduate Seminar Course (under the auspices of the European Union):
“Training Primary Health Care Providers to support patients with Cancer, during and after receiving treatment”.
