• 17/11/2000 - 16/5/2002: Resident doctor in General Surgery department of ‘Hippokrateio’ Hospital, Thessaloniki.

• October 2011: Presentation of PhD Thesis to the sector of Neuroscience of Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki, on the subject of “ A study on the neuroprotective effect of phenytoin on spinal cord injury of rats”.

Work Experience

• Since I finished my training in Greece and Switzerland, I worked as a neurosurgeon specialist at Nicosia General Hospital from 2007 to 2014. From that status, I completed a large number of neurosurgical operations, in the fields of cerebral, spinal and peripheral nerves diseases. My special interest is concentrated on the diagnosis and treatment of vascular brain abnormalities. I also focus on spinal degenerative and trauma cases, as this was the subject of my thesis. From March 2014, I resigned from Nicosia General Hospital and commenced working privately.
